Thanks to a few of our friends, we've got some lovely representations of Gul's history scattered around our shop. It provides not only colour and a talking point, but also a useful contrast to the neoprene-based technologies of today. We're like a mini Gul museum, right in the heart of Bude. C

Although technically Weymouth did come fairly quickly after us, we've still felt like the newbies to the Gul stable since opening in March.

Well, that's all changed now that Gul Yeovil are passed this mantle!

We've been busy little bees here in Bude, busying ourselves with wallpaper paste and random Gul images!

The foundations of this tale start with our ugly and most unappealing polystyrene mannequin heads!

These poor bodiless souls have been subject to much abuse over the months, usually at the hands of our pre-teen patrons! These tiny terrors have, upon occassion, decided our heads didn't need a nose or ear or chin and so have become somewhat bedraggled along the way.

So we set to work and gave them a face lift... then something strange occurred... something eerie... we've begun to think that we may have been guided from beyond the grave.

Anyway, Presidents aside, we think they look fantastic and if you look really carefully you may just be in for a little treat.
